The cornea is the part of the eye that is exposed to light. The iris is the part of the eye that has color and gets bigger and smaller as it responds to light. The pupil is the part of the eye that is black and allows light to come through. It can change is size based upon the amount of light it is subjected to. The retina is a vital part of the eye as well.
Between the iris and the cornea there is a chamber that is filled with fluid that is imperative to the health of the eye.
As you can see, there are many components to the eye and thus makes it very difficult to study, due to the complexity of all these organs. They all work together to help us see clearly and the eye should be well taken care of.
