Magnifying glasses are types of glasses that make objects appear larger than they actually are.  They are used in many instances, such as science for example.

Also, they made be used as reading glasses for short periods of time, or for seeing things you could not have seen without them.  They can really increase the size of small print and make it possible for you to see

Another instance for using a magnifying glass is in situation where you can’t see the print clearly such as in legal documents or any really small print.

There are basically three types of magnifying glasses and they are listed below:

1. Linen Tester:  These are used in schools and homes as well for basic needs.
2. Grade Metal Linen Tester:  This type is used mainly for inspected coins, stamps and micro printing things.  This type is used mainly in textiles.
3. Giant Folding Magnifier:  This type is used for large rock studies such as geodes.

Magnifying glasses offer a great service when you need them and there are many types that are available for you to use and you can find that meets your needs if you just research a little about the different types.
