Eye Problems

Most people have heard how detrimental to your eyes spending time in front of the computer can be. Even though I spend close to 10 hours in front of it, daily, my vision remains perfect, unlike others. Some have had to start wearing glasses after several years of working in front of a monitor, whereas I’m getting close to 10 years of use, and still no change in my vision.

Being very proud of my eye sight, I used to test it on different things such as moving cars, or reading small text on different things, from as far away as possible. My friends, however, started telling me to take care, because at one point my vision would certainly be affected.

My parents were thinking the same thing as my friends and were telling me to do something else with my time. I decided to try jogging, and I looked online for the best things to buy, such as sneakers and an mp3 player. I also looked for the best time of the day to run. After having the necessary information,  I finally started.

My excellent equipment really helped a lot. My sneakers were great, and the player I’d chosen, the sansa c250  was doing a great job, even though it was quite cheap and I wasn’t expecting much from it. The small player was so nice, that I even started using it when I’d sit in front of the computer, because it had better sound quality.

I currently have achieved a nice balance between jogging and sitting in front of the PC. I’m very happy with myself, and can clearly see that my body is in a much better shape than when I started jogging. My friends and parents have also told me that running has really helped me turn my life around. I love knowing that my health is getting better, but I don’t have to sacrifice my fun and enjoyment to be healthy. There’s a fantastic feeling knowing that!
