Bloodshot Eyes
Bloodshot eyes are usually eyes that are red to the sight and may be an indication of many factors.
Usually people associate bloodshot eyes as being the result of not enough sleep or too much to drink. This can cause your eyes to be bloodshot, but is not always the case.
The reason eyes become bloodshot is because the blood vessels in the eye become dilated. It’s important that if your eyes stay in this condition you have them checked by a professional.
However, most bloodshot eyes are a temporary condition that will clear up on their own and there are many types of drops that may help alleviate the problem or get rid of it entirely.
Another important fact to remember is that it doesn’t matter how red you eyes are as far as how bad the condition is, this really has nothing to do with it. The severity of condition is usually the same, regardless of how red the eye is.
If your eyes do not clear up on their own, you should talk to your doctor about it and see what the cause is and therefore a treatment can be suggested. This will give you assurance and peace of mind as well.
